Sparmax coaches

Our team is made up of professional pugilists and martial arts enthusiasts who are dedicated to their students. Our instructors are committed to the success of each student and help them not only reach, but exceed their goals. Our staff includes several award-winning fighters, each of whom has the necessary teaching qualifications. In addition, each of them went through a rigorous selection and investigation process prior to being hired. Meet our coaches!

Normand Grimard

Chief Instructor and Sparmax Academy owner, Normand Grimard has been practicing martial arts for over 30 years. Today, he prepares pugilists for various competitions in Canada and the United States. He holds teaching certificates from some of the most accomplished instructors in the world. His dedication, integrity and rigor have made Sparmax one of Canada's most respected combat academies.

Kevin-Alexandre Grimard

Having made his debut at Sparmax at the age of 5, Kevin-Alexandre Grimard currently holds the title of Canadian Elite boxing title (56 kg). With more than 50 fights to his name and an impressive track record, this instructor specializes in teaching boxing and Muay Thai. Kevin-Alexandre is a devoted and persevering as well as inspiring young instructor for all ages.
